The Students’ Historical Society of Nigeria (SHSN), University of Ibadan chapter, has scheduled a congress for students which will hold on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the Lecture Theatre (LLT), Faculty of Arts, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
According to a notice jointly signed by the President, Akinsumbo Gbadamosi, and the General Secretary, Kamalideen Alaka, attendance is compulsory for all members of the society.
The agenda for the congress includes the introduction of the Executive Council, presentation of the state of the society report, a freshers’ welcome session, and the launch of the SHSN Book Reading Club. Other items listed are the discussion of dues and the inauguration of a Constitution Review Committee.
“The decisions taken will directly shape the activities of the Society for the session.”, the notice stated.
